Lamborghini Jarama

In 1969 Lamborghini realized that the Islero was out off date and that they needed a new model. Marcello Gandini who worked for Bertone designed the new car, and Marozzi (who had designed and built the Islero) produced the bodywork. By size it was the smallest car that had left the Lamborghini factory. Unfortunately it was by far not the lightest. This was because the factory off Marozzi wasn't the most modern and the body was made off layers off steel. Bob Wallace, then chief test driver said that the car was some 250kg to heavy. The finish off the cars was not good, this gave the car a lot off negative comments. The only thing good was the V12 engine and the modern tires that gave the car good stability at high speeds. The Jarama's top speed is 250km/h and is capable off accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 7,4 seconds. 327 cars where built from 1970 till 1976.
