Lamborghini Espada
When in 1968 the Espada debuted it came as a shock to most people. The car was a combination off a practical four seater and a sportscar, it was luxurious, comfortable and easy to drive. The design came from a show-model from Bertone called the Marzal, some changes where made to satisfy Ferrucio Lamborghini. Power came from the 4 liter Lamborghini V12 and producing 325 horsepower. Later cars had a 350 horsepower engine and a modernized cabin. The Espada could also be ordered with an automatic transmission, a lot off customers did. It was one off the most successful cars Lamborghini produced, 1217 where built between 1968 and 1978. In those 10 years a lot off improvements where added to the Espada. Top speed was 250km/h, for a car weighing 1626kg quite an achievement.
